The End . . . But Not Really
It has come to that time when we must all say good bye. I hope everyone’s final week goes well, and I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to learn about some of these great new advances in technology this semester. I know all of the bloggers tried to find technology that related to everyone. Whether you’re a history major or a consumer science major technology will affect the way you work in the future. I personally have always been intrigued by the latest and greatest inventions, which is why I have chosen to pursue a career in technology.
To help me pursue this career, I have selected the Business Information Systems major. This exciting major trains students to combine business and technology to provide value for businesses. Our major also has a club with allows members to go on various company tours and meet some great people in the field. Over the summer, I will be interning at McDonald’s Corporate Office in Oak Brook, IL. It will be exciting to learn how McDonald’s uses their technology across the planet, and will be a truly rewarding experience for choosing a career in technology.
I cannot believe I will be returning to Illinois State next year as a senior. The time here has truly flown by, and I encourage everyone to try to get as much out of this experience as possible. I wanted to leave everyone with a bit of a last thought as well. While I believe the world needs just as many liberal arts major as it needs technology majors, I highly encourage everyone to check out how technology can help you reach your dream career. You would be surprised about the diverse number of opportunities that are available.
Thank you again everyone for being so great. This project could not operate without you. If you ever have any questions or comments about anything feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Good luck on finals!
